storynote is a product by Writing Peers, an EU-based company helping writers create original stories with the help of AI tools, workbooks and structure-based guidance.

Our frontend and backend are hosted by Vercel, with servers located in Sweden. Our database and authentication are managed by Supabase, with data stored on servers in Sweden. Both comply with GDPR and industry-standard security protocols.
When signing up or subscribing to our newsletter, your email is securely stored with our provider, ConvertKit. For transactional emails (such as login codes or password resets), we use Hostinger SMTP servers based in the EU.

storynote and its AI features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of AI outputs. Content generated by the AI may contain errors, biases, or misinformation.
We use trusted subprocessors (like OpenAI, Vercel, and Supabase) to deliver storynote. While we take reasonable measures to ensure their compliance with GDPR and industry standards, we are not responsible for actions outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Writing Peers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) resulting from your use of storynote or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us in that period, if any.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Writing Peers and its affiliates, employees, and directors from any claims or legal proceedings arising from your use of storynote, your violation of these Terms, or any content you generate, store, or distribute through the Service that infringes upon others' rights or breaks applicable laws.
storynote is not intended for children under 16. If you are under 16, you may only use the service with parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 without such consent. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at admin@writingpeers.com.
You agree not to use storynote to post, generate, or share content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, misleading, or that infringes upon the rights of others. This includes content that violates intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove such content or suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, especially in cases where your actions compromise the safety, rights, or experience of other users or the integrity of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to storynote at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, OpenAI's Usage Policies, or applicable law. We may also suspend or terminate your account to protect the security, integrity, or availability of our service. Upon termination, your right to use storynote will immediately end, and we may delete your account and associated content as permitted by law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. You agree that the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of storynote.
storynote is intended solely for the purpose of writing, story development, and creative exploration. You agree to use the platform only for lawful and personal writing-related activities. You may not use storynote:
